The long-awaited SlingPlayer Mobile for iPhone application will be hitting Apple’s App Store in the next 24 hours — but it will only stream video over Wi-Fi, not AT&T’s 3G data network. The software, which lets users relay television shows from their Slingbox set-top boxes to the iPhone, has been restricted by AT&T’s strict no-Slingbox policy.
