Verizon is set to launch a new LG candybar next month aimed at business users known as the LG Glance VX7100.
The phone features a woven metal backplate echoing a false gold finish along with standard features such as a large 2 inch QVGA display, 1xRTT data access, 1.3 megapixel camera with video recorder, Bluetooth, and speakerphone.
The phone will be priced at $219.99 Month to Month, $169.99 on Verizon Prepaid and a 1 year agreement, or $99.99 after a 2 year agreement before an additional $50 mail-in rebate, bringing the total cost to $119.99 and $49.99...

AT&T has opened a dedicated page for the second Samsung Epix ROM update intended to fix issues with a prior update, patch more bugs and adds featues.
The update fixes a log dump error related to the network connectivity stack, enables audio alerts while in power saving mode, Outlook Notes sync, and a fix for ascending ringtone settings.
AT&T has officially announced the earlier launch of the BlackBerry Curve 8900.
The device will be nearly identical to the T-Mobile version a landscape HVGA (480×360) display, quadband GSM/EDGE 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, speakerphone, microSDHC expansion slot, media player, Wi-Fi radio, Bluetooth with stereo audio support, and GPS support via built-in transceiver.
AT&T will be bundling free Wi-Fi access across its growing network of hotspots with BlackBerry data plans as well as a free month of AT&T Global Navigator.

Samsung and T-Mobile have announced the forthcoming launch of the Samsung T349, which we previously reported on.
The phone features a converged SureType-alike QWERTY keyboard, triband GSM/EDGE, myFaves support, 1.3-megapixel camera, media player, Bluetooth with stereo audio support, microSDHC expansion slot and speakerphone.
The phone is now available for $64.99 after new 2 year agreement before an additional $50 mail-in rebate, bringing the total to $14.99.
The device is expected to be launched in mid-June after the release of the Pre with dual-mode GSM/CDMA radio for international roaming, 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, accelerometer 3.6 inch WVGA display with a tilt mechanism similar to the Kaiser, microSDHC expansion slot, TV output, and dual-microphone speakerphone.
The Sprint version will launch with Windows Mobile 6.1, but will receive the upgrade to 6.5 when available.
CheapenGadget.com, has found that Dell is offering the North American version of the Nokia XpressMusic 5800 for $249.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate.
At $249, that puts Nokia’s first touch screen, S60 smartphone at less than half the full retail price of an iPhone 3G. The device supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, and AT&T’s 3G network (as well as quad-band GSM).

The FCC has formally approved the Samsung i7500 smartphone powered by Android.
The version approved is the same announced in April with a 3.2 inch 320×480 AMOLED widescreen touch display, quadband GSM/EDGE with quadband HSDPA support,including UMTS 1700 access for T-Mobile’s 3G network.
